About

Dr. Corrina Azarcon is a surgeon based in San Antonio, Texas, where she provides comprehensive care in retina and cataract surgery at the Texas Diabetes Institute. Her clinical practice includes cataract extraction, vitrectomy, intravitreal injections, and laser treatments for diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, and other retinal conditions. She also evaluates new patients with ocular surface tumors and offers long-term monitoring for intraocular tumors.

Dr. Azarcon completed a fellowship in ocular oncology and pathology at Emory University under the mentorship of Drs. Hans Grossniklaus and Jill Wells. She subsequently pursued a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the University of Calgary in Canada, where she gained extensive experience in the medical and surgical management of complex retinal diseases.
